Thailand-One Baht Coin BE 2505(1962)-Bhumibol Adulyadej(Rama 9)

Issued under the currency act BE 2501(1958) to give authority to produce new one baht coins. This time the treasury department tried improving the production process quality and hard to counterfeit. They also changed the composition to Cupro-Nickle with a ratio of 75:25. Copper-Nickle is more durable similar color with silver and is popular in many countries. The 1962 One baht coin is a standard circulation coin. They were minted from 1962 to 1974 without a date change.
