Thailand-One Baht Coin BE 2520(1977)-Bhumibol Adulyadej(Rama 9)

According to the Ministerial Regulation No.35 December 21st 1976, maintaining the size, weight, and composition. Designed to have a more beautiful pattern. Thailand-One Baht Coin BE 2517(1974)-Bhumibol Adulyadej(Rama 9)

  Obverse Reverse                                                                                                    https://en.ucoin.net History            Due to the similarity in the size of the previous 1962 One Baht Coin with the 1972 5 baht coin lead to confusion between these coins. In 1974 the government initiated the Treasury Department to produce a new type of circulating coin. On the coin's obverse has king Bhumibol Adulyadej's portrait and the reverse has an image of a Garuda. This coin has been changed to be lighter and smaller than the original One Baht Coin.
