History
       In BE 2519(1976), the Ministry of Finance gave the initiative to the Treasury Department to produce additional new One Baht Coins. According to the Ministerial Regulation No.35 December 21st 1976, maintaining the size, weight, and composition. Designed to have a more beautiful pattern. The Treasury Department approved to use an image of the Suphannahong Royal Barge as the reverse design.
